Privatization of education is a major problem of educational development in Nigeria today. It was revealed that there was significant relationship between functioning educational system and sustainable development.

Among other recommendations is that the government should intervene with respect to giving some financial leverage to the educational sector. This could be through the Petroleum Trust Fund (P.T.F), Education Trust Fund (E.T.F) and others. However, this should however not warrant undue interference.
