Description

This research study investigated the effect of labour turnover on organization efficiency with reference to Nigerian Brewery Alakia, Ibadan Oyo State. A cross-sectional survey was utilized to collect data from 50 respondents drawn from Nigeria Brewery Alakia, Ibadan using simple random sampling method for answering research questionnaires and testing hypothesis in this research work. The data collected from questionnaire were also analyzed using percentages and parametric statistics (Chi-Square). The research finding showed that the effect of labour turnover has reduced production, increase cost of recruitment, work disruption, increased scrap and overtime and additional labour turnover. Reduced production was found to have the foremost effect on labour turnover and this affects output and profit. It was recommended that offering of challenging job and hope for future prospects to workers in order to increase their loyalty and commitment to the organization will make employee to be loyal and committed staff and it make them hardly to leave the organization.
