ABSTRACT
This research work was design and embarked upon primarily to determine the impact of utilizing a “computerized billing and invoice system” in an organization with particular reference to DE-MON DÉCOR LTD. There is no contradiction in the fact that statistical data available to organizations varies from one firm to another due to some endogenous and exogenous factors prevalent in the dynamic business world.
Therefore, the objective of this study is to critically analyze the various types of computerized billing and invoicing system and evaluate their efficiency on the success, growth and development of DE-MOS DÉCOR LTD. In the height of competition from organization that also use computerized billing and invoice system. In view of this, the effect of computerized billing and invoice system on organization efficiency and effectiveness needs to be identified and analyzed in order to understand and appreciate its dynamics. The research problems intend to find out the role of computerized billing and invoice system on the activities of DE-MOSDECORLTD with respect to the films industry. In view of this, the study reviewed many literatures on computerized billing and invoice system in order to juxtapose the views 0f scholars and writers.
Moreover, the researcher used primary and secondary data in order to achieve the objectives of the study. This brought about a personal interview with the manager in order to assess the extent of utilization of the computerized billing and invoice system by the employees of DE-MOS DÉCOR LTD.
However, the findings revealed that the computerized billings and invoice system is not being handled systematically and comprehensively. Therefore, the organization needs to adopt a proactive and strategic procedure so that it can meet the challenges being faced and compete favorably with other organizations.
Finally, chapter five dealt with the summary, recommendations and conclusions based on the research findings.
