Description

This study examined the study of teachers’ perception and disposition on entrepreneurship education among secondary school students for sustainable development with focus on Ijebu-North Local Government of Ogun State, Nigeria. The research adopted a descriptive research design. The total population for the study comprised of eighty teachers in the selected area of the study and the instrument used for data collected was a questionnaire. The findings of the study showed that there is a significant difference between social science teachers and science teacher’s perception on entrepreneurship education for sustainable development. It revealed that there is a significant difference between social-science teachers and science teachers’ disposition on entrepreneurship education for sustainable development. It also indicated that there is a significant difference between male and female teachers’ disposition on entrepreneurship education among secondary school students for sustainable development. The findings also showed that there is a significant difference between male and female teachers’ perception of entrepreneurship education among secondary school students for sustainable development. The study therefore recommended that Government needs to invest heavily on the teaching of entrepreneurship in every educational level because this will motivates the teachers and the learners in the teaching and learning of entrepreneurship subjects
