Entrepreneurship brings economic growth, innovations and creates new jobs. Therefore, much emphasis is given to entrepreneurship as a subjects in secondary school education as a mean to prepare new generation. This study therefore investigated Teachers’ Understanding and Perception of Teaching of Entrepreneurship Subjects in Ikosi Local Government Area of Lagos State. A descriptive survey research method was adopted for this study in order to obtain factual information. This was achieved with the aid of questionnaire designed to answer the research questions in the study. Two hundred questionnaires were administered on the teachers selected for the study. Hundred percent of the questionnaire distributed were returned. Findings from the study also indicated that teachers have a positive perception of teaching entrepreneurship subject while there are no adequate resources for the teaching of entrepreneurship. It was also discovered that there is no difference in the understanding and perception of male and female teachers on the teaching of entrepreneurship subject. The study therefore recommends that government should provide adequate resources for the teaching and learning of entrepreneurship while seminars should be organize for the teachers in order to keep them updated on the teaching of entrepreneurship education.
