Description

This research study examine job satisfaction among subordinates of male and female managers in Lagos State, Nigeria. A cross-sectional survey was utilized to collect data from 114 managers drawn from 10 different banks in Lagos State using simple random sampling method for answering research questionnaires and testing hypothesis in this research work. The data collected from questionnaire were also analyzed using percentages and parametric statistics.The research finding showed that gender have no significant influence on job satisfaction. It also found that there are some constraints to job satisfaction among bank managers.It was recommended that bank administrators should adopt a policy of equal treatment for each gender in order to avoid job dissatisfaction due to gender discrimination.
