Description

The broad objective of this study was to examine the impact of managerial efficiency on entrepreneurship performance. This is imperative because the success and the survival of any organization is determined by how effective and efficient the available scarce resources of the organization are utilized among which are the work force, capital and land. In order to achieve the broad objective of this study, three hypotheses were raised for validation. The data for the analysis of the model were collected by the researcher through a self structure designed questionnaire. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and multiple regression technique were adopted for the analysis and the result of the estimation was facilitated using the statistical package for social and management sciences (SPSS). From the data analysis, it was at evident that managerial efficiency has a significant impact on entrepreneurship performance in Nigeria. The result of the hypothesis one shows that educational level has a significant impact on entrepreneurship performance. The result of the hypothesis two showed that the level of experience of entrepreneurs has a significant impact entrepreneurship performance. Finally, the result of hypothesis three showed that managerial skill has a significant effect on entrepreneurship performance. The study concluded that managerial efficiency has a significant impact on entrepreneurship performance. The study recommended that entrepreneurs should be sensitized to concentrate on learning and developing essential managerial skills
